Hated public speaking til I took this class. She's so encouraging and helped me get over my fear of public speaking. On literally every assignment she gives you personal feedback so you really improve throughout the quarter. Kinda a lot of homework, but it's worth it with this prof.

A true gem at De Anza! You can tell she cares about your growth as a public speaker and becoming an organized individual. Keeps things interesting with various group projects and individual speeches. Most speeches you are able to select the topic so it helps take the ease off of presenting in class. Wish she taught other COMM classes. 5/5

I found this teacher to be very rude, assigning work to us before we even met her! most of this beginning work is just us meeting our classmates by being held hostage for class points and there's 5+ assignments in a module called Week 0, unbelievable!
