Very good professor. Really took the time to get to know us, even though we were not in person and half the class refused to turn their cameras on. She's hands on, super involved, and very understanding if there are issues with other classmates, you can go to her and get her support. She is awesome, and I learned so much in her class!!

Amazing professor!! This class was so easy. I was nervous about taking a public speaking class but the professor made the class and assignments super easy and fun. She's super understanding, easy-going and funny. This class wasn't too serious or intimidating. The only thing that made this class hard was if you had a bad group for a project.

We were online because of Covid---not ideal for Public Speaking but she made it great! We did videos, so learned a lot about editing, plus some really cool tools to use. She is super patient and answers questions kindly, not rudely. She gave us time in class to work with our groups which was super helpful. A positive experience, I recommend her!

Professor Iyengar is one of the best teachers/professors I've ever had. She is incredibly kind and caring and provides detailed feedback. There were around 5 speeches with 3-4 of them being group speeches. They were incredibly fun to make and she lets the students choose their own topics for each speech. I looked forward to this class each week!

I loved her. She was super involved in teaching us how to deliver our speeches online. She made sure to get everyone to talk in class and she is a good listener. Very fair in her grading as well. An amazing person and very funny too. I was lucky to get in her class.

It took 3 quarters to get into her class but it was worth it! She is amazing. So kind, patient and genuine. I have never had a professor that cared for the students as much as Prof. Anya. Highly recommend her. She is worth the wait!

The best professor Ive had in my 3 years at Deanza! I was super shy to speak but she made sure I was heard & everyone had a chance to participate, not easy for an online class. Class was always interesting bc she had good things to share with us. She helped me, a complete introvert to the point that I switched my major to COMM! Love Anya!
